About the design of casting, do you know?

When you make design for Die-casting tooling , you should do something carefully and try your best to make the products elegant. Die-casting tooling is a method of casting liquid die forging, a process completed on a special Die-casting tooling design forging machine. Its basic technological process is: the molten metal is first cast and filled into the cavity of the mold at low speed or high speed, and the mold has a movable cavity surface. It is pressurized and forged along with the cooling process of the molten metal, which not only eliminates the shrinkage cavity and porosity defects of the blank, but also enables the internal structure of the blank to reach the forged broken crystal grains. The comprehensive mechanical properties of the blank are significantly improved. Die-casting mould is the three major elements of die-casting production, and it is indispensable. We should pay attention to the following points in the aluminum casting design: The design of aluminum castings is similar to that of plastic parts. Some design conventions of plastic parts are also applicable to aluminum castings. For aluminum alloy, the temperature and pressure of the mold are much larger than that of plastic, which requires strict correctness of design. Even with good mold materials, once there is welding, the mold will have almost no life. Zinc alloy is similar to plastic, and the mold life is better. There should be no concave sharp corners to avoid die collapse. Although the precision of die castings is relatively high, it is worse than that of plastic, and the drawing force is larger than that of plastic. Generally, the structure should not be too complicated. If necessary, the complicated parts should be divided into two or more pieces. The screw hole of aluminum alloy is usually only made of taper hole, and post-processing is adopted.  A post-processing amount of 0.3mm is usually reserved for the strict matching parts. Aluminum alloy die casting is easy to generate pores, which should be considered in appearance.
